Thursday march 8

Its getting warmer outside everyday now which is good for people that have to walk. Today I did the samething again which is chopping up vegetables and doing the dishes too. It was the last day till march break.

Wednesday March 7

It was the 2nd last day till co-op is done till march break. We only have one more day to blog for co-op. Then we get a week off of going to our placement. I try not to say the same thing everyday, but theres not much that I can say because basically I do the same thing everyday which is chopping up vegetables and doing the dishes which isn't to bad, but it seems to get boring doing the same hing all the time. Also theres not much for me to do at the irish pub.

Tuesday March 6

Today it was freezing walking home I had to wear my scarf to cover my face today too. At my placement it was the same thing that I've been doing for the last week basically. Its fun, but it gets boring after a while. I'm still chopping up vegetables for salads, but I did know going into this that there wouldn't really be anything to do because its a small irish pub and they don't get much people. When I go at lunch theres not a lot of people there maybe theres five people there eating.

Monday March 5

Today at my placement I got there a little late because I had to walk home and it takes a half an hour and because it was so windy and cold when I was walking home too. Today at my placement I'm still working in the kitchen and I'm still chopping up stuff for salads and doing some diswashing stuff too. I enjoy this co-op placement very much.

At my co-op placement there are many things that I can do. Getting to co-op on time is showing the supervisor and the other workers that you want to be there and that you respect the time that you have to be there for. The supervisor expects us to be there when were supposed to be there because then he/she knows that we can take the challenge. Being on time also means that if your on time then you can get more things done then if you were late then you missed out on doing some things. The things that I learned from my co-op placement is that I have to be careful at all times because I could chop of one of my fingers or something worse and if I'm handling raw meat I should always wash my hands after. I also learned how to cut different styles when I was chopping up vegetables. Theres big, small and mediumstyles of chopping. That's what Ilearned from this week at my placement.

Friday March 2

Today was my last day of the week. Its always a fun time in the kitchen. We have the music loud and were talking about anything like movies. I've been having such a fun time at my co-op placement. I'm glad I came to the Stout Monk for co-op.

Thursday March 1

Third day at my placement and it was another great day there. Today I was learning how to work the dishwasher and it was different then the one at home because its huge and it runs it self instead of us where we have to run it ourselves at home. Its pretty neat how it works. I was also chopping up more food to again today. Even though I live pretty close to my placement it was still a nasty walk home today.

Wednesday February 28

Today was my second day at my placement. I had such a good time again at my placement and I was chopping up vegetables. I didn't chop my finger today wich is a good thing. I have a different supervisor during the week. On Tuesdays and saturdays I have one supervisor and the rest of the week I have another supervisor which is okay I guess. I live pretty close so it doesn't really matter. I like it at my co-op placement though.

Tuesday February 27

Today was my first day at my co-op placement. My co-op placement is at the restaurant called The Stout Monk. It went well the today. I was chopping up a lot of food like peppers and onions etc. When I was chopping up the vegetables I cut myself and it really bled, but I was fine. It was fun to chop up the vegetables and make them into salads. Its very loud in the kitchen and hot too. The people are so nice and I had such a good time. I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
